London Dinner – May 2025, The Civil Service Club, London. On a warm and sunny Friday evening on the 30th May, twenty-six Old St Beghians gathered in the Civil Service Club in central London to celebrate the London dinner after a hiatus of six years. Many of the OSBs had travelled from far outside the South East region to attend and this really did enhance the whole evening and bring together a broad spectrum of guests - in fact, we had representation from every house at the school. Special mentions go to David Connell and Mark Richardson, who both happened to be visiting the UK from Australia and USA respectively and managed to fit the dinner into their travel plans - we thank you both!

We were thrilled to have two distinguished speakers this year. President of the OSB society Darryl Davies unlocked many fond memories for all with his humorous recollections of his time at the school as both a pupil and member of staff, whilst the future interim head of school, Laurence Gribble, gave an honest and inspiring update of the school's position and future growth plans. We hope to repeat this event in 2026 and would dearly love to have even more OSBs turn out for this wonderful evening.
